Furi Demake - The Chain is an 8-bit reimagination of Furi’s first boss fight. It features Furi’s frantic and precise combat and nervous controls reinvented as a side-scrolling mix of shoot'em up and hack'n slash.
The simple controls with only three action buttons, the old-school pixel art and the catchy music from ODD will bring you back to the 90's!
History: We wanted to create a gift for the Furi community that’s been championing the game. At the same time we came across Sylph’s work on Twitter. We were impressed with his skills as a self-made solo dev, and we could see Furi Demake in his style, so we decided to work on this together.
The game is entirely free, and available to download on Steam, GoG and Itch.
About the original: Furi launched in 2016 to overwhelming positive reviews, praised for it genre blending game-play, intense one-on-one duels, super sleek neon art direction with design from the creator of Afro Samurai and an outstanding electro soundtrack. The team has been updating the game regularly (latest DLC Onnamusha 2022) and it has now been played over 3.4 million players. Furi is out on all platforms but mobile.
